《 遗 传 学 》教 学 大 纲 A General Outline of Genetics 四川大学生命科学学院 College of Life Science, Sichuan University 2003-8-26 《 遗 传 学 》教 学 大 纲 A General Outline of Genetics 四川大学生命科学学院 College of Life Science, Sichuan University 课程简介 遗传学是生命科学领域中一门核心学科,主要是研究遗传物质的结构与功能以及遗传信息的传递与表达。鉴于遗传学在生命科学中所处的重要地位,遗传学课程已被列为生物学教学的主干基础课程之一。现代遗传学学科的发展,已经进入基因的分子水平,遗传学技术的应用已渗透到生物学研究的各个领域。在教学过程中既要突出遗传学的核心地位,又需重视与相关学科的内在联系。遗传学教学既要能反应遗传学的基本概念、基本理论、基本规律,又要紧跟世界遗传学的发展动态,从基因入手,以基因的结构与功能为主线,探讨基因表达对生物体发育建成及其行为的决定性影响,以及遗传学研究过程中所涉及到的最新的实验技术。
Introduction Genetics, the science of heredity, is a central discipline in biology. From 1900 in which Gregor Mendel’s law of heredity were rediscovered, advances in genetics continue to be made at an ever increasing rate. The studies of genetics focus on the identification of genes and their function, and its associated techniques. To encourage a genetic way of thinking, we present the scientific reasoning of some of the ingenious researches throughout this course.
