This web page represents the first stage of a plan designed to summarize the literature on recent progress in the structure, kinetics and mechanisms of the monoamine transporters DAT, NET, and SERT. 

The present state of development includes the sequences and helical net representations of these transporters as well as the related information indicated by the various links. As results on the effects of mutations, behavior of chimeras, and other findings from the literature are added, the results will be linked to the specific residues in relevant sequences and helical net representations.
