Our antibody to avidin is produced by hyperimmunizing goats with highly purified Avidin D. The antibody then is purified by affinity chromatography using Agarose Avidin D. Anti-Avidin D can be used to localize avidin, to amplify signals, or in immunoprecipitation procedures. Biotinylated Anti-Avidin D has the unusual property of binding to Avidin D either through its antigen binding site or through its biotin residues. This product is produced by optimally biotin-labeling our affinity-purified Anti-Avidin D. By following a fluorochrome conjugated Avidin D with Biotinylated Anti-Avidin D and adding a second layer of fluorochrome conjugated Avidin D, the fluorescent signal can be amplified. This product can be used in tissue staining, chromosome mapping, or cell sorter analysis.
