2007 China---ASEAN Forum
on Developing Petrochemicals and
Biomass Energy Resource
With the aggregate demand for energy rising, energy security is coming to the more important issues. The theme of this Forum is to provide a platform to analyze and discuss the development tendency of petrochemical industry and bio-mass energy resource in China, to reduce energy demand and diversify energy supply, including efficiency and clean supply alternatives, enhancing domestic energy security and improving sustainable development of China petrochemical industry. Speakers will come from government representative, experts, professionals, researchers, engineers in relevant areas. Participants will come from planning administrations of provincial government; producers and development zone of chemical industry; engineering companies concerned; universities and research institute concerned; investment and trade organizations, consulting companies, foreign experts concerned.
This forum will present a unique opportunity where you would have a first hand updated information on the development of major petrochemical producers and bio-mass energy resource in China. In addition, you can build firm business contacts. This is an event you cannot afford to miss!

We’d like to invite papers on the identified topics. If you’re interested in share your articles with our participants, please send us the abstract and the author’s CV by May 20, 2007 to weixiaohui@ciccc.com. The articles will be selected by the expert panel to be presented on the symposium and/or included in the conference’s official publication.
