Description S閦ary cells are peripheralized malignant T cells seen in some patients with mycosis fungoides. Peripheral blood smears are stained with Wright-Giemsa stain and evaluated by the director of the laboratory for the presence of S閦ary cells. The laboratory director will issue a written report containing a quantitation of S閦ary cells and an interpretation. Procedure Specimen requirements: One 5 ml tube EDTA-anticoagulated (lavender top) peripheral blood.
